Our Story
This is the story all about how...John and I (Mistie) came up with the name for our company and why we do what we do.

This song (though it has been changed a bit from the original) is sung on almost a daily basis in our household. To find out where it started and came from we have to go back a bit.
Once upon a time a boy met a girl and a girl met a boy. Okay maybe that is to far back but that is how it all started. John and I met fell in love and decided we wanted to start a family. After a year of trying naturally with nothing happening we took the next steps. I was not a candidate for fertility medications or IUI (intrauterine insemination) so the next step was the hail Mary, IVF (in vitro fertilization). Almost a year later and three failed attempts at IVF we were told to start thinking about other options, more specifically egg donation. Since right at this time the world decided to take a break or better known as COVID lock downs started, John and I decided to take a break and regroup in a few months. A month after we were told to start looking at other options, the one thing that seemed like it was impossible happened, we conceived naturally.
Fast forward 36 weeks to November and we had an amazing beautiful baby girl. She instantly became the light of our lives, our dear, our darling one, our smiling and beguiling one. Since the day she came John has sung this song to her and it helped calm her down. Since our baby girl is our beautiful blossom (yes every parent says that about their child), we decided to pay homage to her and name our company for her as she is our Beguiling Blossom.
Now that we got the name part out of the way, why do we do what we do. Well simple, we love it. John loves to build and I love to design. Since John works full time and I work part time, in jobs that tend to be higher on the stress scale, this is way a for us to do something together that we both get some enjoyment out of.
John and I are both creative in our own ways. John loves working with the CNC or the laser cutter, tinkering with electronics or just building things from scratch. I love to quilt, love to make cards, scrapbook, and use the laser cutter to make earrings and other items. From this we decided to combine our talents and start Beguiling Blossom.
